Widower Mrs Alving prepares to dedicate an orphanage in memory of her late husband. Her son Osvald, a struggling artist, returns home for the opening. Gradually the ghosts of the dead father's past come back to haunt the present, throwing family life into turmoil and Osvald's own future into doubt. Written in 1881 by Norwegian playwright Henrick Ibsen 'Ghosts' is a powerful and poignant moral drama.
